Friday...

Today was a great and productive day. We had a crew at the Rusty Pelican, the hardy job, and good old Jerome's house. We finally finished up the grout at the Rusty Pelican and moved in the tables and chairs for the restaurant. It was quite a fun day. Many different handy jobs were done through out the day...even roadside trash clean up of a more less fortunate neighborhood (Jerome's neighborhood) Jerome and his sister and nephew were very surprised and happy about the work done around the house.

We experienced an AWESOME evening tonight after dinner. We all gathered around for devotions and heard J.T.'s testimony. He gave his life story and prime examples of how sin will completely destroy your life...it was wonderful to just sit there and listen to such a great testimony and also to see how far he has come in his walk with God every day. Following the testimony time, a prayer session broke out and it was wonderful to see God's hands at work. To see all us teens and adults come together in unity and pray fr one another. The devil wants us to stay in the darkness, to keep sinning against God, to completely destroy our lives. But God has revealed himself in way that no one else can. He has opened our hearts and eyes for his glory to be seen and heard. He has defeated satan, in our own camp. Disunity is very common among teenagers on missions trips , but I believe tonight was the night that we all came together as ONE in the name of Jesus. Prayer was awesome and I feel we have gotten a lot accomplished on this trip, whether it be little things or big things.... GOD is ALWAYS in control no matter what.
